Chef Academy is a show about the chef, Jean Christophe Novelli, who tries to opens up a test program for a top-notch culinary institute and trains and transforms people who aspire to cook like professionals. He starts off with nine subjects. The second show is Masterchef. Masterchef is a show done by Gordon Ramsey based in Los Angeles. Gordon starts the show off with the best one hundred home cooks in America. All of these people come from all walks of life like police offers to interior designers.
The third show is Chopped. Chopped is a show that is all about skill, speed and ingenuity of four chefs that compete against each other. The chefs have to transform ingredients that most people have never heard of into a three course meal. Plus they only have thirty minutes to cook the meals. The fourth show is Iron Chef America. Iron Chef America is based off of the Japanese version of the show by the same name. Two chefs compete against each other to put the secret ingredient into a three course meal. One of those chefs are the Iron Chefs.
The fifth show is Hell’s Kitchen. Hell’s Kitchen is another Gordon Ramsey show. It is a show where competitors are competing against each other to win the honor of being the head chef of a very famous restaurant. The competitors have to cook in Hell’s Kitchen every week. The sixth show is Top Chef. Top Chef is where chefs compete against each other and there own culinary challenges along the way. There are two main challenges in the show. They are the Quickfire challenge and the Elimination Challenge. In the Elimination Challenge, someone always has to go home.
